The developers, investment development company, which is located in Abu Dhabi announced it has signed an agreement with Carrefore, whereby Carrefore leases a large area within the new shopping centre 'Delma Mall'.
The company is constructing in Musaffah a hypermarket in a land area of 13.500 square metres. Dalma Mall willl constitute one of the largest shopping centres in Abu Dhabi when its development is completed in April 2009. Being developed near Abu Dhabi Industrial city (ICAD) at the main road between Abu Dhabi and Musaffah, Dalma mall will provide a distinct shopping attraction for residents of the city of Abu Dhabi and its outskirts.
This step falls within efforts of Carrefore to strengthen its activities and extend its coverage to all areas of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It also represents their first commercial outlet in such volume outside the island of Abu Dhabi. The area extending from Al Raha beach through airport area to Musaffah is witnessing rapid development reflected by the residential, commercial and tourism projects being developed.
Mona Khamis Al Dhahri of The Developers commented " We aim by developing the shopping center Dalma Mall to provide the best services to residents of Abu Dhabi, which is now considered as the typical place of residence and for practicing business in addition to its distinguished position at the international map of tourism".
