Ambassador of Canada Sara Hradecky today opened a show hosted by the Royal Canadian Mint to display the world's largest gold coin as acknowledged by the Guinness Book of Records.
The coin is made of 99.999% pure gold, weighs 100 kg and has a face value of 1 million USD.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sultan bin Nasser Al Suweaidi, Governor of the UAE Central Bank, Jim Metcalf, President of the Canadian Business Group in Abu Dhabi and officials from the Royal Canadian Mint. (WAM)
