The Municipal Affairs Department in Abu Dhabi has commenced to put the revised executive regulations of law no 3 of 2005 issued by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi regarding property registration in the emirate.
Dr. Juan Salim Al Dhahiri, Chairman of the Department, said the by-law, which incorporated opinions of different stakeholders, was drafted to serve public interest.
''By this move, the government of Abu Dhabi has gone along way in regulating the real estate sector- a developemnt that will have far-reaching impact towards instituting governance and transparency,' he added.
He announced that The Department was joining forces with the Legal Affairs Department at the Abu Dhabi Executive Council to enact an integrated legislative framework to regulate the land and real estate sector in the emirate as per best practices. WAM
